Welcome!!! This is my new home in the blogosphere or more so my latest home and this will be my space for writing about our new adventure as we – hubby, I and our baby son will start a “new life on our own“.

It is the 1st of September 2008 and it is our 6th year anniversary since we got into a serious relationship. In a few days time we will be on a new life on our own. We have lived with my parents’ house since we got married and I think it is high time we move into our own home as we may call it. We have a house of our own but it is farther up south and farther away from hubby’s work which is far north. We are moving into an apartment we found online at DS last month. It so happened that the son of the lady owner is also a fellow MB. We had started cleaning the place since yesterday Sunday the 31st of August 2008.

We went back there today but it was already late afternoon and it was raining. Hubby and I went out of the house together but I went staright to the apartment to start cleaning while ge went to WU to get some moolah from his GA income.

God is good as financial blessings continue in order for this move to be carried out. Our budget will be tightened a lot but there is no price tp pay for being on our own, able to be independent and learning to stand on our own, facing life’s challenges primarily financially as we will be paying all utilities on our own. Unlike in my parents house where we only pay for water and DSL plus our share in the groceries like rice, etc.

Yesterday my hubby said it will like be “bahay-bahayan” (play house). But I am happy we are finally able to be on our own. It won’t be that easy we know but we will try to cut down on expenses and figure out ways to be able to save as much as we can. What is more important is that we are together and happy as often as we can be.
