It is kind of early in the morning on a Sunday morning for me but I am trying to start work early today. Going through some stuff at home, I need some cutting tools like a really durable utility knife to work on this card boards for a little house project I have in mind.It is good to reuse them rather than throw them away now.

The little boy, on the other hand, is looking for the scissors but good thing I found the art scissors I bought a few months ago which is safer to use than the regular scissors that we have. Accident prevention is indeed important especially with young kids using these cutting tools. (more…)

Choosing a child care center or preschool for our kids should be well thought of by parents. I remember last year around this time I was in my search for other possible options for my son. I am amused with this little girl who likes to talk to me at my little boy’s school when she sees me. She is fluent in English and must be five years old. She happens to be a classmate of my little boy in their multi-age level class. She also has a very playful little sister that I see around in school. One day, we had a little chat that took longer because the little boy was still playing and watching the soccer class in the open field.

This little girl told me then that she likes their teacher and wants to be like her. So here I am finding myself talking to a future teacher. I told her she must have lots of patience when she wants to be a teacher like Miss L. I just happened to have recently read by then about these teaching degrees options that aspiring teachers like her can choose from.

I wish I can be a teacher but I don’t have as much patience that a teacher should have each day handling so many kids at the same time. So I may just have to give that opportunity to other people like this little girl. I often observe their teacher and I would say she should really have a lot of patience and lots of love in being a teacher since kids like this girl, who want to be a future teacher, and my little boy look up to her as an example.
