It is Friday night and as much as I wanted to go out with the boys, the husband is on night shift at work and so the little boy and I are stuck at home. It is a rainy night after all so might as well stay home and just find a way to have some fun still. The little boy is having his Friday night TV time and we allowed him since it is his special weekend anyway towards his special day this weekend. So it’s like a treat though we have been trying our best to regulate what he can watch.

Anyway, I am not that busy and I want to give myself a break after a rather quite busy week. I wanted to play some online game for tonight. Yes I have been wanting to take a peek at my Farm Town game which I have not played for a long time. My former college classmate was suggesting over at Facebook for me to try this Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 game that he and his friends are into. He said it has that reinvented Special Ops co-op play and an all-new survival mode. I am not familiar with the game though hubby may be able to play it more.

Anyway, I found another thing to do and maybe I can work on the photo album that has been saved and pending to be completed since last year. I’ll try to work on that unless I find another nice movie to watch in awhile this relaxing Friday night.

We got the SkyCable DigiBox just last Saturday afternoon after the cable connection was gone for about a month already. We do not watch TV that much anymore for many months already as encouraged by the little boy’s school to eliminate, if not lessen and regulate the kid’s TV time. Now that it is the Christmas holiday break from school and just in time that the owner offered us an option on this digibox, we grabbed the chance since there are times that there are events and shows that we want to watch. Not that often though but only on certain occasions.

We still regulated the kid’s TV by locking the channels we don’t like him to watch including Nickolodeon and Disney. We let him watch the Disney Junior because we fell the shows there are better. However yesterday, while I was looking for this car hire malaga, the channels got scrambled and SkyCable might have been affected by the typhoon Sendong. Now we lost most of nice channels including the little boy’s Disney Channel. Good thing Lifestyle Network is still there and that’s the one we watched earlier. For now we hope SkyCable will be able to fix the problem soon or else this digibox won’t be that fully maximized in terms of use during the Christmas break.

I want to find Christmas music videos on YouTube and I want to play for keeps. But initial concern was how do I download them and what will I use to download them. An online friend came to the rescue by suggesting one best video download for Mac and PC. She got this from a friend of hers too. She said you can easily download videos from YouTube in MP3, AAC, MPEG, FLV, and HD formats. Just make sure those that are not copyrighted.

The download speed is said to be fast like lightning. Well let us see if we get to try it. A friend of my friend said it is the best video downloader she has tried as it is the fastest, easiest and most reliable YouTube downloader she has found so far on the web. It is said to be a safe, secure YouTube downloader which will allows you to download your favorite YouTube videos to play locally on your computer.

Well I’ll check this out again later or in the next few days.

The boys are still asleep giving me some time to take a break from work and looking into these celebrity wedding trends. Weddings by itself make me feel happy and excited. Much more when it is a celebrity wedding that make people talk about for weeks to the wedding and even after that.

You may have heard of British Heiress Petra Eccelstone’s wedding recently to businessman James Stunt where the Black Eyed Peas sang during the reception. As well as that of Kim Kardashian’s wedding to basketball star Kris Humphries just last Month in the Montecito Mansion in California. Both brides wore beautiful Vera Wang wedding dresses. These kind of weddings can be so lavish. While other celebrities prefer for a more private and intimate wedding. I am sure there will be other celebrity wedding trends to look forward to in the future.

The little boy got a treat when we allowed him more movie time today before we head out to the mall for some events and shows plus a mini reunion with old college friends tonight.

I wish we had our 32″ LCD with us now which I have put on safekeeping for the meantime. We have a bluray movie playing now but it would have been different if we played it on the LCD TV. I say when it comes to home entertainment, bluray rocks! Those Bluray players are really great for watching movies at home especially when you have big widescreen LCD or LED TVs for high quality entertainment right at the comfort of you won home. It gives you means to enjoy watching movies beyond breath-taking image quality.

The little boy does not mind though as long as he has his fave movies to watch on our old TV for his longer hours of movie time with no school day today.

Also Glee won Best Television Series Comedy!

Kurt is actually one of the reasons that I look forward to watching Glee this second season aside of course from our very own Charice who plays the guest role of Sunshine Corazon in Glee Season 2. Glee will be back on January 25! Can’t wait!

I wanted to watch TV now but I still have a few chores to finish before finally calling it a night. I have not watched TV so often for years now. But after seeing those plasma tvs at the appliance store in the mall a few days ago makes me wish I have all the time in the world to watch TV and just do that whole day. There are a few brands of TV to choose from when it comes to plasma such as LG, Samsung, and Panasonic. These TVs can allow you to browse the web on your TV.

I have tried watching YouTube on our 32″ TV before. It’s kind of overwhelming at first when you’re used to a small monitor screen but you’ll get used to it. Technology these days have made so many things done possibly through your TV connecting it to the internet. For now though, I just want to watch a few minutes of TV before finally calling it a night!

My two sisters who lives on their own have no TV at their home. They just rely on my elder sisters mobile phone television. She said she will put on hold any plans to purchase a real TV as of now until her house has been finished. She is at work whole day and she is content with her iMac and her mobile phone TV when she wants to watch certain local TV programs that she cannot watch through the internet or other means.

When we go to her house, we usually bring our own TV if not watch movies in her iMac. But for those who want a mobile phone TV this is a good technology solutions if you want to watch TV at any place at your own convenience and any time you want. My sis can even watch TV while lying in bed in her own bedroom or when my other sister wants to eat while watching TV, she brings along the mobile phone TV. Just great how technology has evolved to suit our own respective convenience.

The guest Oprah has today is Harry Connick Jr., the singer who loves Frank Sinatra songs. I remember him way back to the American Idol Season 9 Sinatra week.

Wow! How love can make people be so lavish at times! A few days ago a few friends of mine were talking about the rumored cost of that engagement ring that a local celebrity actor gave to his new girlfriend who herself is a local celebrity actress and co-host of that actor in a local TV noontime show. From what I heard and read that ring costs more than a million in our local currency. Well that shows how much love the actor must have for her! I recall the girl cried upon receiving that ring as the actor finally confessed his love for her on national TV.

Well getting one of those diamond engagement rings indeed could make a girl cry out of happiness and just like that actress it could make you speechless. I have browsed through those beautiful diamond engagement rings over at Brilliance and indeed you would be awed at their brilliance. They can also make a custom ring or jewelry piece to meet your exact specifications if you want. Well I long for the day to get a diamond ring not for engagement of course but perhaps a gift from hubby dear!
