Be Generous

May the LORD in 2012 be generous to us in terms of prosperity and financial stability; good health for me, my boys, my family and their respective families; peace, safety and protection, love, harmony; and overflowing opportunities that we can make the most of.

I will always be thankful to the Lord for providing for us just when we are in need. I know we just have to labor and work, He will help us. A door has closed for us in 2011 but hubby and I remain faithful and hopeful that the LORD will open another better opportunity for us. Guide us in our decisions Lord and protect us at all times. May we be blessed with the generosity of your heart LORD! Amen!

Slowly Recovering

Slowly recovering I must say for my health and in one financial matter I have been concerned of over the past month or so. I am still worried for the little boy though who still has a lingering cough. I keep praying to the Lord Jesus it’s all gone by now.

The little boy and I have a cough more than a week. We are both on antibiotics already and might need another checkup by this weekend back to the pedia. I hope the pedia (who is out for a week for a meeting or convention maybe due back tomorrow) is in by then and not the substitute lady pedia.

Lord Jesus heal us and lead us all to complete recovery and healing. Amen!

Thankful

I am thankful that my sister and her family are far enough to be safe from the riot and looting that are happening in some parts of London for tha past few days now. Hope this will stop now because it ain’t doing any good for Britain especially the people and properties damaged and stolen. We continue to pray for peace and order not just for London but for the whole world. It makes us thankful too that we are in a peaceful place now. Lord keep your people safe and away from harm. Thank you LORD!

The Lord Jesus has risen!

I wanna greet everyone who celebrates it a HAPPY EASTER 2010! Hope you had a great Easter Sunday with your loved ones. We just spent it at home then went to attend mass in teh afternoon where there were not so many people compared to the usual mass goers during that time since most of the church goers probably attended the early morning Easter mass. It has been awhile since we had attended that one. When I was still staying at my parents’ home, we could attend this. I’ll try to make it sure next year we will try to do so. So how many eggs did you find today? As for us, we have a dozen eggs and it’s in the ref in a plastic tray. No we didn’t hunt them, we bought them. LOL! Happy Easter again!

Thankful for the blessings that make things possible. Thankful for the opportunities that come our way for the year that is about to end in a few weeks and another great year ahead is something we look forward positively too I hope and pray. God is good and despite the trials and challenges that life brings at times, we persevere and I am thankful for my lil boy who may drain my energy as of these times but is my source of strength to move forward and live live better. Thankful to hubby who is there to support me in his own way. Hope there will be no more a little bitter but just all better if not the best times ahead of us. Thank you Lord!!!

Earthquake

Around 2:30 this afternoon while waiting for hubby to come home, I thought I was just sleepy and dizzy. I felt I was moving back and forth and then I realized it was an earthquake. Thoughts of what happened in Indonesia crossed my mind and I found myself whispering a prayer. Lord let it not happen to us! I then rushed to unlock the front door and went out. I heard the neighbor next door also went out. It was quite a strong one coz when I went out, I saw the tree outside swaying/shaking too. Thank you Lord it did not last long and totally stopped. Keep us safe and protected Lord!

Pink Sisters | Holy Spirit Adoration Convent

I truly miss going to a solemn mass here at the Pink Sisters as what it is popularly known to most people (because the nuns here wear pink habits) or the Holy Spirit Adoration Convent in Davao which is actually the name of one of my favorite places for prayer, novena and reflection here in Davao.

Years before I love going to this place when I want some quiet time. This is just near where we live before in my parent’s home. There were time when I would just walk going there to and fro. I miss the misa de gallo there and the beautifully lighted and decorated altar during those times every year. I hope to be able to go back here soon as in soon.
