Slowly recovering I must say for my health and in one financial matter I have been concerned of over the past month or so. I am still worried for the little boy though who still has a lingering cough. I keep praying to the Lord Jesus it’s all gone by now. (more…)

Hubby got a weeklong off from work with his day off days sandwiched his two annual “S” days. It was some kind of a blessing in disguise because it gave us like a mini vacation for me and the boys. We did not have enough budget to have an out of town trip plus the little boy has school. Hubby and I are making the most of it going out, doing errands and just spending time on our own even if it is just malling. (more…)

We gave hubby this leche flan roll from Red Ribbon for Father’s Day 2011. It is a simple cake roll we gave hubby. He knows we are on a tight budget. He appreciated the thought and the boys loved having their souvenir photos taken together carrying this one for Father’s Day.

We love eating this when served chilled. Though I think their brazo could have tasted better. (more…)
