These are the Disney Mickey Mouse Donuts | GoNuts Donuts Abreeza that the kids and classmates of our dear little boy loved among the donuts we brought for the advance celebration of the little boy’s birthday at school. There were also Pooh donuts plus three other varieties of chocolate flavored donuts that we brought too.

This was a hit among the kids. Well kids are really fascinated with the Mickey design of this donut. Just glad I also bought these instead of having all those other chocolate donuts.

The little boy wants more of this he said when he saw me writing this post. LOL! Okay we will try to buy him one more tomorrow if we do get to go back to GND.

Last night, we dined at the Hukad restaurant in the mall that originates from Cebu which serves unlimited rice. We have dined here many times before and we’re rather suki already because of their good food and they are rather more affordable compared to the other restos. There you can see at this photo is the rice I had which is about two servings or around two cups of rice. That’s my limit, the max that I allow myself when we are dining there. I had a cup of rice earlier during the day and this maybe just too much considering it’s dinner.

There are times I would rather opt out dining at this resto and would be thinking twice when hubby asks me if I like to dine there simply because I just do not want to be tempted to maximize their unlimited rice offer. Yet food is good and sometimes you just get into the mood like other people to just go for their unli rice.

While others are having no rice diet after the holidays, I just limit my meals just like what I have been doing for more than a year already. So I think indulging in this offer would be okay as long as it is not everyday!

Chimichanga | Mooon Cafe at Abreeza Davao

Getting to order this when we are at Mexican inspired restaurant, Mooon Cafe is a treat for me. I like this but at P98 it can be a rather expensive treat for myself especially when I want to save on our food trips. Once in awhile when I think I deserve a treat in a month, I order this and we share it with hubby.

If you happen to dine at Mooon Cafe which happens to be owned by the family of a friend and classmate of mine, do try this one. Yet to each his own because if you don’t like mexican inspired food it may not taste as good as it is for me. But I was no fan of mexican food before I tried this I tell you.

Food Service Jobs has a purpose of making sure that each of the resto’s guests are given the best possible service in a prompt and friendly manner and that the highest quality. I think Shakey’s new branch gave us good service. Doing this job ain’t easy that is why I try my best to show the waiters, waitresses, food servers in all restos that we dine at that we are thankful especially when they render us the great service. At the same time, I am thankful too that they gave us a 10 percent discount in lieu of the soup plus the two additional rice we ordered were given free of charge. Food was great tonight! Thank you Shakey’s!

Got a little treat in Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies for the little guy and me a couple of days ago.

In as much as I wanted to buy this chocolaty treat often, it is a little expensive plus its chocolate and processed food at that. We cannot have these cookies for the little guy often. Maybe once in awhile or if there is a better cookie available then that would be better. I have to admit we could not resist this one a few days ago.

Instead of ordering softdrinks or other cold drinks if and when we get to eat at certain restos in town, we are starting this habit of ordering hot chinese tea if they are serving it. A better alternative than cold softdrinks and soda. Especially when you are eating fatty food which we are also trying to avoid now as much as we can. Right hubby dear?

This one from Mandarin is also very affordable at P22 only and I think you can ask for a refill of hot water that is if you can take more.

Those photos were taken during their great summer together. Summer parties are treasured there since they have winter now fast approaching. My sis said she loves to attend those parties given by friends. At one point she organized one and she asked me for some help for party invites. Thinking about it now maybe I could have suggested these Crab Boil Invitations which are great invites for some party with friends to eat some delicious seafood and have a great time with all your loved ones during summer. Their group of friends mostly love seafood. I would just go hungry looking at those photos they post and share of various seafood and crabs during their parties. Typical food for them during those sought after parties with friends which they say is a must “See Food” event to look forward to.

Hot calamansi juice has been my fave drink for the week or so. Whenever I get to see this available where we eat, I would order it hoping at least it would relieve or soothe me as well aside from having a healthier option for a drink rather than soft drinks or anything loaded with calories.

I have not started yet that so called powerful morning drink of pure calamansi recommended by Bro. Bo Sanchez, hopefully drinking calamansi juice will help a little for the meantime.

As I was uploading old photos for backup way back two years ago, I saw this photo of my fave carbonara available at a coffee shop in town. The coffee shop is quite far from us now. That is one of my fave places to eat carbonara. They have that signature taste that I like. Dunno why! LOL! It has been ages since I have eaten or visited this particular coffee shop.

We have befriended the owner over time and we sometimes see her during bazaar around town. Hope to make a trip down memory lane and get to eat their carbonara once again. Hope it  still taste as good as I remember it to be.

Locally called as langka or nangka, I loved eating it when I was young since my mom has a tree of it in our backyard. I could eat a lot of it unmidful of what others say that it can cause indigestion when you eat a lot of it. I like it too when they cook it in coconut milk. Yummy! Makes me crave for it more right now just thinking about it.

Sorry I just love to eat and any thought of food really makes me hungry at any hour of the day even late at night like right now… craving for jackfruit!
