Chimichanga | Mooon Cafe at Abreeza Davao

Getting to order this when we are at Mexican inspired restaurant, Mooon Cafe is a treat for me. I like this but at P98 it can be a rather expensive treat for myself especially when I want to save on our food trips. Once in awhile when I think I deserve a treat in a month, I order this and we share it with hubby.

If you happen to dine at Mooon Cafe which happens to be owned by the family of a friend and classmate of mine, do try this one. Yet to each his own because if you don’t like mexican inspired food it may not taste as good as it is for me. But I was no fan of mexican food before I tried this I tell you.

We dined at Shakey’s new branch in A.Mall tonight since we have almost tried the other restos in the mall already. They just opened last Friday and since today is already a working day, it was not full and busy anymore. The food server who served us made a little mistake of not informing us that there was no more chicken and corn soup. I am thankful that he apologized. His job in the food service ain’t easy sometimes especially when they make mistakes. He was obviously tired already after a day’s work. (more…)

Got a little treat in Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies for the little guy and me a couple of days ago.

In as much as I wanted to buy this chocolaty treat often, it is a little expensive plus its chocolate and processed food at that. We cannot have these cookies for the little guy often. Maybe once in awhile or if there is a better cookie available then that would be better. I have to admit we could not resist this one a few days ago. (more…)
