Last night, we dined at the Hukad restaurant in the mall that originates from Cebu which serves unlimited rice. We have dined here many times before and we’re rather suki already because of their good food and they are rather more affordable compared to the other restos. There you can see at this photo is the rice I had which is about two servings or around two cups of rice. That’s my limit, the max that I allow myself when we are dining there. I had a cup of rice earlier during the day and this maybe just too much considering it’s dinner.

There are times I would rather opt out dining at this resto and would be thinking twice when hubby asks me if I like to dine there simply because I just do not want to be tempted to maximize their unlimited rice offer. Yet food is good and sometimes you just get into the mood like other people to just go for their unli rice.

While others are having no rice diet after the holidays, I just limit my meals just like what I have been doing for more than a year already. So I think indulging in this offer would be okay as long as it is not everyday!

I woke up to the sound of a noisy truck with men with loud voices outside plus to that smell of smoke belch (which is the annoying part) from the truck coming in through the aircon which was already turned off actually. I went out to check outside and found a big truck with men in front of our neighbor’s house delivering big trees – as in new, big palm trees I think that they are planting in their front yard. I saw men working in their place yesterday. Probably pulling out the old trees.

Nothing about those big tree! They are a welcome sight for me but the air pollution that came through the aircon and which I can still smell inside the little boy’s bedroom actually giving me goosebumps when I smell the air. The little boy is still sleeping. I wish the electric fan could blow out all the bad air inside the room now. Poor boy! Of course our neighbor does not know our situation right now. They are busy dealing with the big trees. I hope this won’t ever happen again. This is what I don’t like in our place with poor air ventilation at most time. I had to close the house to avoid the dust from the construction of the building before which is now left unfinished there plus our other neighbor who had been polluting our supposedly fresh air in the morning with their two jeepneys. Good thing they have been doing their part so far after I really voiced out to the father and owner of our health conditions partly attributed to their “means of livelihood” as he reasons out. Yes I am all for earning a living as long as that does not badly affect the living, health and life of your neighbor.

Maybe if we were on the second floor maybe it would have been better when it comes to air ventilation plus I can get a better sight of the street below and those new, big tree I think they bought in time for the coming Christmas parties.

There is another remote for a movie player that I found in one of my drawers in one of the cabinets in our bedroom. It can still be used. I want to watch movies with the little boy on weekends and we need this remote. I had to beg my dear hubby to fix it please. I know where to find a Lead Free Solder wire now that I know he did mention to me the last time I asked him to fix the remotes in the house. I am particular with using lead free stuff at home because the last thing I want to happen is having anyone of us suffer from lead poisoning.

I know I need to sleep now but I am still working and need to finish a few more posts before finally calling it a night. Sometimes I feel like I am running a marathon. I do take a break and when the boys and I go out like to the mall, that becomes my break. But since human as we are we get tired when we come home. Yet I still have to go on through the night to finish pending stuff just like now. The boys matter to me so we need to spend quality time together. Okay enough talking, rush finishing those stuff I have to do because I really need to sleep now. As in!

I try to keep in mind whenever I get to see a doctor and am prescribed with a new medication like antibiotics or whatever is new to me, that I have to ask if there is any possible side effect that one may get to experience but hopefully not. It can be scary especially when you get to read about lawsuits like those being taken cared of by this actos cancer law firm I came across with last week. They deal with cases of families who have patients with diabetes who have taken the medication called actos and developed a side effect which is as serious as cancer of the bladder. So it is but our right to fight for compensation just as it is also our right in the first place to ask our doctor and know if they give us medicine like this one that can have bad side effects.

It should be a concern for anyone sick to learn that if a certain medicine he or she is taking has serious side effects that could pose health risk even put your life at risk. If you have read about the Crestor lawsuit a case against a medicine that is supposed to treat high cholesterol and prevent cardiovascular disease which have then been scientifically linked to cause serious side effects like heart failure and heart attack, then you know you should be concerned with any meds you may be taking. These kind of medicine that pose a threat to your health instead of curing you should truly be out of the market and never used by anyone.

I have tried taking MX3 capsules last year I think but have not taken them again until now. Then I saw this MX3 Tea at Watson’s in Abreeza Mall last month while I was looking for something else actually. I bought one to see how it works. My mom mentioned this to me before. But I think you got to drink this regularly to really see any difference. It tasted fine reminding me a little bit of taste of mangosteen.

On second thought, maybe I could just eat the raw and fresh mangosteen fruits instead. Better right?

Slowly recovering I must say for my health and in one financial matter I have been concerned of over the past month or so. I am still worried for the little boy though who still has a lingering cough. I keep praying to the Lord Jesus it’s all gone by now.

The little boy and I have a cough more than a week. We are both on antibiotics already and might need another checkup by this weekend back to the pedia. I hope the pedia (who is out for a week for a meeting or convention maybe due back tomorrow) is in by then and not the substitute lady pedia.

Lord Jesus heal us and lead us all to complete recovery and healing. Amen!
