I found these Sharon Professional Aluminum Cookware when hubby and I were looking for another kind of cookware that we wanted to buy for use at home. Sharon Cuneta is indeed exploring a new line of business. I have not watched Sharon at Home much except for that last episode i saw where Judy Ann Santos, her “sister” was the guest. I first found her Celebrations by Sharon fudge brownie mix and other mixes at the Robinson’s Supermarket in AMall then I think she also has sauces and other bottled food products. Then these various cookwares.

I am particularly looking for a big red casserole that I saw her using on her show and I think it’s part of her cookware yet it was not available here at Robinson’s department store. I have liked that red casserole as I have seen being used in various cooking shows during the holidays. I just love the bright color! It brings more color to the kitchen while using it for cooking. These are quite expensive not within my budget that time. Will save up for it especially for that red casserole cookware that I like that is if I find it here.

It is Friday night and as much as I wanted to go out with the boys, the husband is on night shift at work and so the little boy and I are stuck at home. It is a rainy night after all so might as well stay home and just find a way to have some fun still. The little boy is having his Friday night TV time and we allowed him since it is his special weekend anyway towards his special day this weekend. So it’s like a treat though we have been trying our best to regulate what he can watch.

Anyway, I am not that busy and I want to give myself a break after a rather quite busy week. I wanted to play some online game for tonight. Yes I have been wanting to take a peek at my Farm Town game which I have not played for a long time. My former college classmate was suggesting over at Facebook for me to try this Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 game that he and his friends are into. He said it has that reinvented Special Ops co-op play and an all-new survival mode. I am not familiar with the game though hubby may be able to play it more.

Anyway, I found another thing to do and maybe I can work on the photo album that has been saved and pending to be completed since last year. I’ll try to work on that unless I find another nice movie to watch in awhile this relaxing Friday night.

We got the SkyCable DigiBox just last Saturday afternoon after the cable connection was gone for about a month already. We do not watch TV that much anymore for many months already as encouraged by the little boy’s school to eliminate, if not lessen and regulate the kid’s TV time. Now that it is the Christmas holiday break from school and just in time that the owner offered us an option on this digibox, we grabbed the chance since there are times that there are events and shows that we want to watch. Not that often though but only on certain occasions.

We still regulated the kid’s TV by locking the channels we don’t like him to watch including Nickolodeon and Disney. We let him watch the Disney Junior because we fell the shows there are better. However yesterday, while I was looking for this car hire malaga, the channels got scrambled and SkyCable might have been affected by the typhoon Sendong. Now we lost most of nice channels including the little boy’s Disney Channel. Good thing Lifestyle Network is still there and that’s the one we watched earlier. For now we hope SkyCable will be able to fix the problem soon or else this digibox won’t be that fully maximized in terms of use during the Christmas break.

Indeed finding a house that uses rustic furniture like this rustic dining table that I once envied of having at home for my parents’ house plus decors to coordinate with the whole rustic theme of the place makes it really a home that is cozy and inviting. It could be an alternative place to live in for a family used to city living and modern house design to have a rest house of sort that has rustic furniture.

As a friend of mine once told me, her mom has saved and built a home away from home for them on a place up in the mountains as their family hideaway and the furniture her mom used there were mostly rustic furniture they got from a supplier they know since her mom is in the furniture business. I’ve known that since we were still in grade school so that is such a long time ago. I do remember the photos of their house is one of those which you can say is really cozy and inviting too. Truly one that they can call a home away from home.

It is a holiday today and I wish to relax and enjoy this day. The little boy is still fast asleep and I will let him sleep more since they have no class anyway. But I’m getting bored waiting. If only we have those xbox games I would not be a little bored right now waiting for hubby to come home a few hours after lunch. Yes they work even on holidays. No complains it’s just that they do indeed have work on holidays.

If we have those games right now, I bet the lil guy is wide awake by now. But the school has limitations when it comes to that but since it is a holiday and there’s no class, maybe we could have those games if only we have those games. It will be a fun holiday!

I woke up to the sound of a noisy truck with men with loud voices outside plus to that smell of smoke belch (which is the annoying part) from the truck coming in through the aircon which was already turned off actually. I went out to check outside and found a big truck with men in front of our neighbor’s house delivering big trees – as in new, big palm trees I think that they are planting in their front yard. I saw men working in their place yesterday. Probably pulling out the old trees.

Nothing about those big tree! They are a welcome sight for me but the air pollution that came through the aircon and which I can still smell inside the little boy’s bedroom actually giving me goosebumps when I smell the air. The little boy is still sleeping. I wish the electric fan could blow out all the bad air inside the room now. Poor boy! Of course our neighbor does not know our situation right now. They are busy dealing with the big trees. I hope this won’t ever happen again. This is what I don’t like in our place with poor air ventilation at most time. I had to close the house to avoid the dust from the construction of the building before which is now left unfinished there plus our other neighbor who had been polluting our supposedly fresh air in the morning with their two jeepneys. Good thing they have been doing their part so far after I really voiced out to the father and owner of our health conditions partly attributed to their “means of livelihood” as he reasons out. Yes I am all for earning a living as long as that does not badly affect the living, health and life of your neighbor.

Maybe if we were on the second floor maybe it would have been better when it comes to air ventilation plus I can get a better sight of the street below and those new, big tree I think they bought in time for the coming Christmas parties.

A friend just recently bought a printer and I wonder if its the same model as the hp officejet 6500 all in one inkjet printer that is said to let you save up to 40 percent per color page over lasers. Sometimes I am tempted to get one if only we have extra budget for one right now. Its paper handling support are card stock, envelopes, glossy/photo paper, labels, standard cut sheet paper, transparencies.

I have a friend who showed me her printed artwork and I got the idea that the little guy and I could do something like it. Its just that it can be costly in the sense that we need to buy the other supplies. The little guy in the house would love to see his works in photos and I could use this on other printing projects too that I have had in mind for quite sometime with the use of this all in one printer.

Woke up to find that there is no water coming out of our faucet in the kitchen. I told hubby to call earlier but he did not do so until I found it better that I make the call instead. Oh men sometimes it takes them 48 years and they insist it that way! The person who answered when I called the DCWD hotline said that there is a leak in L. Street a few blocks away

Anyway, at least there is a little water coming out of the faucet in the bathroom. But it is way too slow or little. Way more than the usually water supply we have here during week day mornings. That’s one con in living near the heart of the city, there are certain times that there is little water or no water at all but that does not happen often, thank goodness.

I want to watch movies with the little boy on weekends and we need this remote. I had to beg my dear hubby to fix it please. I know where to find a Lead Free Solder wire now that I know he did mention to me the last time I asked him to fix the remotes in the house. I am particular with using lead free stuff at home because the last thing I want to happen is having anyone of us suffer from lead poisoning.
