Goggles

It’s summer time over here and halfway through the month of April makes me think that it is time to hit the beach at least once or twice this summer. As I was going through some swimming and ski goggles with cameras to capture moments which are all for sale online, my little boy asked me to buy him goggles just like the ones he saw at SM yesterday. He pointed out at one of the goggles I was looking into, not for swimming, but that one was for skiing. It looks cool and really functional coming with a snow digital camera that can record high definition video recording .

What we need though are new swimming goggles. I am looking for one particular brand that I used to buy when I did have my own swimming lessons along with my elder sister. Though those ski goggles look more cool to wear with those nice designs. Hope there are ones for swimming that are designed as cool as the ones I was browsing earlier.

Next I got to do some planning on when we could hit the beach with hubby’s changing schedule this summer. Hope we could make it on a regular weekend.

Playing Music

Lights are off for an hour for Earth Hour and the little boy decided to start playing music using his toys starting with his flute. He was trying to find his clarinet similar to the ones among the Selmer Paris Mouthpieces I was browsing before Earth Hour started and before he found his old musical toys. I am hoping this love for music will develop into a passion that he will pursue to make him a creative and intelligent individual.

We are trying to find the other musical instruments like the nice quality flute that my sister gave us a few years ago. That one was really nice. The little boy loved playing that one but it somehow got misplaced in this house and we still have to find it. If we could find it maybe we could finally enroll him in the music class which is part of the summer class offerings in one of the preschools near our area. It will be fun learning and playing music this summer for the little boy.

Minutes Before Turning the Light Off

Within minutes before turning the lights off tonight in our participation of Earth Hour, I am trying to finish some reading on related articles about the Earth Hour event while I see hubby looking at an online store that sells Cohiba cigars. I wonder why he is browsing through that one right now. He may be intrigued by that cigar hand-rolled into a rich-tasting, perfectly-balanced and creamy-smooth smoke. Would he be trying it out? I wonder.

Well the little boy is still quite active and excited as of now. He has not fallen asleep so I told him to prepare to turn the light off in a few minutes from now. I expect him to get excited more. We might just use the Tablet to light up the house while the rest of the lights and maybe some appliances will be turned off as well. I wish we could witness the Earth Hour event in the nearby park but hubby refused to go there tonight. Oh well I cannot leave the little boy alone in the house so might as well just check Facebook for photos later on after the event.

Are you already prepared to turn off the lights in a few minutes? Let’s join the worldwide Earth Hour event by turning our lights off for just an hour from 8:30PM-9:30PM. Thank you!
