It has been a long while since I too time to watch Oprah but since I did not find anything interesting to watch and/or listen to on TV so I decided to stick to the Oprah Winfrey show for now at the Hallmark channel. The guest Oprah has today is Harry Connick Jr., the singer who loves Frank Sinatra songs. I remember him way back to the American Idol Season 9 Sinatra week. Well okay got to hop on to another show now since Oprah has just ended. Oh well it seems I tuned in quite too late! *wink*

I would say it’s my way of saying it’s Christmas in August. I have been listening to some Christmas songs since this month of August has started. I just feel these songs relax and de-stress me more easily plus they make me feel happy and more positive! Today I have been listening to Amy Grant’s songs in her Christmas collection album. I love her version of Christmas songs!

Last night, on my way home from a friend’s advance birthday party, we passed by a delighful display of lighted and colorful Christmas lanterns along the road. It is still August yet they already started selling those lanterns here. The month of September, the first of the so-called BER months marks as the start of the long celebration of the Christmas season here in our country. It is just three weeks away. I am excited for the coming Christmas season! I am sure you are too!

Now here at school on offline mode. No wifi detected as of this time. Maybe since the school director is out of town at the moment. The lil boy was excused from school yesterday by his teacher when we called her hours before his scheduled class.

They already started with their musical reading session today. We could hear them from the waiting area where hubby and I are waiting. I told the teacher earlier if we could have him isolated for today from the other kids. But it seems he is just the first to arrive and there are four kids there now including our lil boy.

We’d like to look for that CD they are using for this musical reading session and maybe we could let the lil boy listen to this at home too to make him more familiar with it. Hopefully he would master it quickly. We have been making him listen to Brainy Baby and other educational videos for kids.
