We got the SkyCable DigiBox just last Saturday afternoon after the cable connection was gone for about a month already. We do not watch TV that much anymore for many months already as encouraged by the little boy’s school to eliminate, if not lessen and regulate the kid’s TV time. Now that it is the Christmas holiday break from school and just in time that the owner offered us an option on this digibox, we grabbed the chance since there are times that there are events and shows that we want to watch. Not that often though but only on certain occasions.

On this Sunday on a long weekend for most in the country, I turned on the TV and Matanglawin was being shown. I called the little boy who just woke up and he was instantly excited to see the show.

Matanglawin is  a weekly science-environmental show hosted by Kim Atienza. It is aired on ABS-CBN every Sundays at 9:30 AM, with replays on Sundays at 7:00 AM on ABS-CBN News Channel. (image from Google images)

I think this is good for kids especially for the little boy since at one time his teacher told me, he needs to know what a chameleon looks like and other animal creatures that he is still not familiar with. It is educational to kids and even kids at heart too! (more…)

I think I have a Gleeky hubby here. He is watching the latest episode now entitled Prom Queen while I just cannot give it my full attention to watch since I am jsut busy finishing some important tasks. Plus the tummy is still at war, too many distractions. However after awhile and since hubby left for awhile, I found myself feeling like dancing to the music. At one point, I took a break from work and took a seat in front of the TV and watched until the gleeky hubby came back.
